The commission has already released result of the candidates for SSC CGL examination on 5th December 2024. Proximately 1.8 lakh candidates are invited by the commission to appear in the SSC CGL Tier 2 examination. Recently the commission has released the revised result of the candidates on 17 January 2025 on the portal where additional 609 candidates are also included in the result of tier 1 examination. As per the order of Ld. CAT, Principal Bench, New Delhi, The commission have included total 609 candidates additionally Who achieve more than the cut off marks in this examination. However candidates can see their name in the previous third SSC CGL merit list, now they are only able to see admit cards to appear in the second examination of the commission from 18 January 2025.
SSC revised cutoff marks for tier 1 examination
At the time of releasing the new result of the candidates, the commission have also revised In The Cut off marks for the candidates in different categories including SC, ST, OBC, EWS and UR category. However there is very little change in the cut off marks but it impacts on the selection procedure and includes more 609 candidates to appear in the second round of the exam. How to download the SSC CGL 2024 Tier 1 Result?
The list of the candidates is already appear on the dashboard of Staff Selection Commission where you can follow the following is step by step procedure to save the PDF of the candidate list in your device:
- First of all visit to the official website of SSC from this link https://ssc.gov.in/
- Now you will return the new page where you can see the notice board section as well as the result section under the quick link where you can directly download the PDF of the new candidates from the notice board or can click on result to follow the next step
- Now you will able to see the result of all the examinations and have to click on CGL section so will see list of the candidates who qualify in the tier one examination.
- It is important to check your name in the third list as the new revision of the result is only applicable for third list candidates.
Once you download the PDF you can search your name or your roll number directly so it will appear on the PDF if you are qualified for the exam.

Download SSC CGL Tier 2 Admit Card
The second round of the examination will also known as Tier 2 exam is scheduled on 20 January 2025 at different centres across the country where candidates are able to check the official SSC CGL 2024 Tier II Admit Card from 18 January on the regional website of the SSC.
- To download admit card you need to visit on the official website of SSC and after that search for the regional website link
- Now you have to click on the about us link on the home page and you will find the regional network section
- Under this page you will see the regional website details and have to click on the specific region where you have applied at the time of submitting the application form so it will redirect you on the regional website link
- Candidates will be asked to enter the registration id and father’s name with date of birth in the Admit Card section and after that the system will generate admit card on the screen
Now you need to download the PDF of the admit card and take a print out of it as only hard copy of the SSC CGL 2024 Tier II Admit Card is acceptable in the examination hall.
