(SSPY UP) UP Pension Scheme 2025: Government of UP is Managing the single platform to provide state pension schemes to the seniors, widows another weak section of the society. As per the report more than 93.29 lakh candidates have submitted the UP Pension Scheme application form to get pension from the state government. UP Pension Scheme 2025
Up pension Portal is also known as Samajik Suraksha pension Yojana- SSPY UP. It is offering Three Types of pensions
- Up old age pension
- Widow pension
- Pension for PWD applicants.
All the facilities regarding the pension are available through online mode where candidates can use this services using the mobile phone accordingly. The UP Pension Scheme amount is provided in bank account directly through dbt mode where beneficiaries can check the status of the payment and other aspects through online mode.
Up pension benefits
- Benefits for old age pension: The government is providing Rs 1000 per month to the senior citizens in the state who have crossed the age of 60. The pension amount is provided with the combined efforts of State Government and Central Government.
- Widow pension program: Female in the state whose husband has died and they do not engaged in next marriage can apply for the widow pension program where they are able to get Rs 1000/month from the state government
- Divyang pension in Uttar Pradesh: The Divyank pension is providing 1000 rupees per month to the disabled citizens and 3000 per month to the Leprosy Pension.

Eligibility for UP pension program
The eligibility criteria is different for each program where candidates can see the specific eligibility for each pension in the following section.
Up old age pension eligibility
- Applicant should be a permanent resident of the Uttar Pradesh
- Minimum age of the applicant should be at least 60 years old
- The annual income should be less than Rs. 56460 in Urban Area and If you are living in rural areas then it should be less than Rs. 46080.
- Since the central government and different departments of state government are providing multiple benefits to the seniors, so if any senior citizen is getting monthly pension from any department then he will not able to apply for the program
- Applicant is required to upload the passport size recent photograph and the income certificate of the applicant while applying for the program
Eligibility for UP widow pension program
- Female who are the permanent residents of state are eligible to apply for the Pension program
- Minimum age of the widow should be more than 18 years old while applying for the program.
- Annual income should be less than 2 lakh Rupees
- The applicant should not avail benefits from the other departments which are designed for widows
- At the time of applying for the program you are required to upload the following documents
- Death certificate of the husband
- Passport size photograph of the applicant
- Bank account Passbook of the applicant
- Income certificate of the applicant
Eligibility for Divyang pension in UP
- The minimum age of the applicant should be 18 years old while applying for the program
- If you are living in urban area then the income should be less than 56460, however individuals living in rural areas can apply in 46080.
- If you are applying for a disability pension then your disability percentage should be more than 40% and if you are applying for the Leprosy Pension then the range of it should be between 1 to 100.
- Candidate getting benefits for the PWD citizens from any other department will not able to get such benefits
- Along with the application form candidates are required to provide the following documents at the time of applying online
- Disability certificate
- Income certificate
- Latest passport size photograph
- Bank passbook

UP Pension Scheme 2025 Online Registration
If you have checked your eligibility and collected your documents then you can follow the following step by step procedure to submit the application form using mobile phone:
- Visit to the official website of Uttar Pradesh pension program portal or you can click on this link to visit directly https://sspy-up.gov.in/
- Now you will reach on the new page where you have to click on the specific pension program according to your eligibility
- Candidates will able to see all the details of the program including the eligibility, application form and other details where you have to click on the apply online
- It will ask basic details of the candidate including locality information, name of the candidate, parents details, Aadhar Card and other information.
- Now you need to provide your bank account details where you will receive your payment
- At the end you need to upload your documents in the application form and click on the submit link
Once you submit the application you will get the acknowledgement on your mobile number which you have entered in this application. after that authority will verify it and will soon update it through the mobile phone accordingly.

After registering, follow these steps to see the status of your pension plan application.
Step 1: Go to the Pension Portal for Uttar Pradesh.
Go to sspy-up.gov.in to access the official Uttar Pradesh Pension portal.
Step 2: Choose the pension option.
Select the “Old Age Pension / Widow Pension or Divyang jan (Disability) and Leprosy Pension” option from the top menu bar.
Step 3: Verify the status of your application.
Locate and click the “Application Status” link when the page loads.

Step 4: Select your preferred pension plan (Old Age Pension, Widow Pension, or Divyang Pension) on the new page. Verify the status of your UP Pension application.
Pension List UP 2024-25
- Navigate to the SSPY UP portal’s Pension dashboard.
- Select the pension list up to 2024–2025 option.
- Choose your village, gram panchayat, block, and district.
- Select the figure that represents the total number of pensioners.
- After that, the UP Pension List for your town or village will be shown.
